This notice explains how Texo Drywall ("we", "us") uses personal information when you ask for a quote, book work, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
Texo Drywall is the trading name of a self-employed builder and decorator based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, who is the controller of your information. Contact: texodrywall@gmail.com, 07928 176316.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the job, your town or postcode, when you would like to start, and your message.
- What you send by phone, WhatsApp or email, such as the site address or postcode, drawings and plans, photos, sizes and the dates that suit you.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to you, visit the property, give you a quote and carry out the work: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the records tax law requires, such as payments: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you contact us that way.
- Google, only if you choose to load the map.
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (usually six years). Photos and access details are deleted once the job is finished and paid, unless you agree that we can show photos of the finished work (without the address).
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email texodrywall@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising and no visit statistics. The Google map loads only if you allow it; when it does, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. See the cookie notice.
